About Me.

We all come from somewhere(s) and this somewhere regularly shapes and steers us from and towards the path of our true self. Like you, I too have been on this path and often still find myself revisiting my journey towards more healing. â€‹

Therapy is available when you need it. It's okay to be in it for a few sessions or even just one. It's okay to be in it for years. There's no judgement here from when you find yourself in need of therapy. In an ideal world, we could all benefit from a monthly therapeutic check-in.

There are certain therapeutic modalities which work better for particular concerns. And, if one of my modalities does not work for you, I will help you find additional support (e.g., group(s), or a different therapist) who could better suit your needs.

My lens is shaped by each individuals' stories and how these stories have shaped the person's narratives of their lives, their relationships, their parts and their self. I tend to understand people from an attachment lens, meaning how your story got started, how you formed relationships and how this style is currently engaging positively/negatively in your life. I also am trauma trained and informed via various mindfulness-based modalities, substance abuse/misuse interventions, person-centered therapies, and cognitive behavioral interventions such as CPT.  I am also Level 1 IFS and Level 1 EMDR trained. In addition, I have 500 hours of study in yoga therapy and yoga modalities. When applicable, I utilize my yoga training to assist persons with gaining awareness of mind-body connection, practicing mindfulness, and understanding and practicing calming breathing strategies.
